  • 2020 Helix RB Elelyon Noa picked up an offer from Nevada.
  • 2020 San Marcos ATH Zavion Reese picked up an offer from Utah State.
  • 2020 Lincoln ATH Marquese Allen picked up an offer from New Mexico State.
  • 2022 San Ysidro G DJ Dudley picked up an offer from San Diego State.


  • The 2nd Annual CIF All-Star game was held at Petco Park on Wednesday, following the Padres game.

  • The West Team defeated the East Team, 7-3, with Cathedral 3B Zavier Watson, being named the MVP.
  • Rancho Bernardo‘s Miles Cook defeated Ramona‘s Derek Diamond, 22-13, to win the Home Run Derby.
    • Torrey Pines 3B Kevin Sim had the longest shot of the day when he blasted a ball to the upper deck of the Western Metal Supply Building during the Home Run Derby.


  • The 2019 MLB Draft took place this past week. San Diego had 21 current and former High School Players selected throughout the 40 rounds, led by Eastlake 3B Keoni Cavaco, who went to the Minnesota Twins with the 13th overall pick.

  • Vista grad Korey Lee, who just finished his junior season at Cal, was picked by the Houston Astros with the 32nd overall pick.
  • Christian grad Kyle Stowers, who just finished his junior season at Stanford, was picked by the Baltimore Orioles with the 71st overall pick.
  • 2013 La Jolla Country Day grad Tommy Edman, who was a 6th round pick out of Stanford in 2016, was called up by the St. Louis Cardinals to make his Major League Debut.
