Grice Does it All, Leads Broncos to Rotary Cup

Mt. Carmel struck first on Friday with a touchdown pass from Sean Casey to TJ Sullivan to take a 6-0 lead after 1 quarter of play. Rancho Bernardo rebounded in a strong way with 23 unanswered 2nd quarter points and never looked back. Milan Grice led the Broncos on the ground with 261 yards and 3 TD’s. He also threw a TD to Christian Baker.

Fresno State commit Mark Salazar was efficient through the air going 8/9 with 119 yards and a touchdown before going down late in the 3rd quarter with a left arm/shoulder injury. Salazar appeared to be in considerable pain and did not return to the game.

TJ Sullivan led the Sundevils with 5 catches, 100 yards, and 2 TD’s.

Mt. Carmel (4-1) and Rancho Bernardo (5-0) both head into the bye week.
